The firm Polyzomba Civil Engineering Contractors has been in existence for over 10 years, being initially involved in general civil works projects of varying size and later focusing on rail construction and maintenance as a core business. The company has since changed its name to that of Polyzomba Rail Contractors, and has implemented projects either as a sole entity or in joint venture with industry partners.

The business has been operating since 1996, as a close corporation steered by four partners. Company members have sound business acumen supported by personnel experienced in the rail industry.

The company strives to provide good quality service to the railway industry as a whole and shall provide opportunities for development of technical skills in the rail industry.
